The Tararua Agricultural Professional of the Year is open to individuals, organisations or businesses providing professional services within the Tararua region, who have significantly contributed to the Tararua agricultural sector through positive leadership, contribution and driving positive impacts for agriculture in our region.
Criteria
The Tararua Agriculutal Professional of the Year will have:
Positive leadership and achievements through the provision of professional services within the Tararua Region.
This person may be an emerging or existing leader within the agricultural industry or be driving positive impacts for agriculture in our region.
Shown integrity, hard work and the desire to make a difference for the industry.
Be a forward-thinking and well-respected member of the Tararua region.
Nomination Process
This award is open to any professional who provides professional services to the agricultural industry in the Tararua region.
The agricultural industry includes pastoral farming, dairy farming, forestry, apiculture, cropping and contracting businesses.
Without limitation this may include professionals from;

Advisory Services
Contractors
Veterinary Services
Lawyers
Accountancy and Business Services
Research and Development
Testing and Analytical Services
Judging Process
To be judged by a panel of three, made up of a sponsor representative, an independent agricultural industry leader, and a representative from the Tararua Excellence in Farming Awards Committee.
